Bedroom design in dark colors

Project description

The idea of design. Solid restraint

Design concept. Make a strict laconic bedroom with a "male" character.

The main difficulties when working on a project. The presence of a protruding column behind the bed (to the right) was a little difficult. The design solution was to sew it up with drywall and wood panels, thereby forming a niche with lighting in the headboard. It was decided to simply “beat” the second column by attaching a console dressing table to it.

The main advantages of the implemented project over the existing one. Thanks to playing on existing columns, the interior turned out to be organic and solid.

The main materials used in the interior. The color scheme of the bedroom is built on a contrasting combination of colors - brown veneered panels on the walls (with partial transition to the ceiling), beige and black glass inserts in the decoration of furniture and walls, as well as pearl-colored decorative plaster. Color accents are the decor, as well as textiles on the bed and curtains. Graphic style emphasize the rectangular shape of furniture and simple geometric lines of the ceiling. Wardrobe with 4 glass sliding doors.

The combination of bright curtains with roll-up curtains that will protect from excessive daylight on a sunny day looks modern and easy. Chair Italian "Husk Outdoor". 7 swivel lamps and 2 fabric ceiling of the firm "FM Iluminacion" (design and production - Spain).

Designers feedback

Designer  Gnatovskaya Irina
Gnatovskaya Irina I wanted to make the overall atmosphere of the bedroom strict and modern due to even and laconic forms, cozy due to textiles and the warm color of wooden elements, and the most functional - due to well-thought-out planning, several lighting scenarios and convenient arrangement of furniture. The psychological comfort for this client was taken into account and, of course, the impression that this room should produce on all incoming.
