Mansarded bedroom design with marsala colors used

Project description

Design Idea: Color Mix

Design concept: In general, the bedroom is perceived as quite light due to the white surface of the ceiling and the massive overhanging roof bevel. The character and mood of the interior of this bedroom are set by the direct forms of the furniture, partially diluted with openwork 3D MDF panels and rather unusual colors close to the color of Marsala and deep camelopard (caramel). These colors in our time are rarely found in the interior. The resulting mix is quite pleasant and perfectly fits the conceived idea.

Difficulties when working on a project: The architecture of the house simply does not leave the possibility to use traditional solutions for this bedroom when planning the arrangement of furniture. The location of the headboard bed to the corner of the house and symmetrically to the two window openings seems so organic here that other options seemed to us losing. A nontrivial task was to design a rounded wall; we decided not to attract special attention to it, breaking it up visually into vertical fragments.

Main materials: Krono Original laminate oak color bedrocks, Nowodvorski Nathalie lamps, Zegen Frida bed, 3D panel made of MDF

Object address: Smila, Cherkasy region.
